Having been seriously inspired by the Bach cantata cycles of Harnoncourt, Leonhardt, Gardiner and especially Masaaki Suzuki, we realised that there are very few opportunities to explore this 'essential Bach' repertoire! And so we have set up the Wulfrun Bach Collegium (WBC) as a rotating group of skilled amateurs, music students, emerging and established professionals who come from Wolverhampton Kirklees and further afield. These have included outstanding graduates in Vocal Studies and Opera from the RNCM and Birmingham Conservatoire, and we have welcomed at least one Cathedral organist (who appears frequently on BBC Radio 4) as well as one of Yorkshire's most highly-regarded organist/choirmasters on keyboard continuo. Our Artistic Patron is the distinguished organist, conductor and pianist Adrian Partington whose letter of support can be read here. We are based at Holy Trinity Church, Huddersfield, with one performance a year in another venue.
ADM Productions actively encourages audience members from different cultural constituencies to share in new listening experiences, and in the same way that Shakespeare is more and more respected around the globe due to increasing recognition of the true universality of his messages, we believe that Bach’s cantatas have something to say to each of us - irrespective of background, culture, and religious beliefs or not - in the twenty-first century.
We actively welcome expressions of interest from instrumentalists, choral singers and soloists who would like to take part. Please register your interest using the form at the top of this page.

We look forward to seeing you in Huddersfield!
